About the Campaign

Ours is a small scale fish farming business through which we contribute our little quota to Nigeria’s agricultural space, and provide food (fish) to residents at Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

This business is aimed at raising catfish of table size which is sellable to an already made market that is growing at a fast pace in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.

We need funding to enable us expand the business gradually as we are unable to meet the current demand for our fish by consumer markets such as hotels, restaurants, individuals and other sellers in the value chain, in our community.

Our fish farming process involves buying catfish of 8 weeks at juvenile, feeding, raising, sanitising and continuously watering the dwelling containers of the fishes for about 5 months or thereabout, and then selling them at a regulated market price.

As our operations are informal and small scale in nature, we may find it difficult and tasking to raise funds from formal financial institutions, hence our appeal for your donations and support on this platform. This will enable us achieve a decent process and sizeable operations to meet the fast paced demand for fish in our community.

Reward for donors:

For donors of NGN 5,000 and above, we promise to give them, one table sized catfish each in return, after the farming season which will commence from the date our campaign on fundanenterprise.org ends, and we receive our payout from the MSME Crowd Funding Foundation.
