I am Abdulazeez Kazeem Adeola. l am a young agricultural entrepreneur. l have done my research & l discovered that as Nigerians(poverty capital of the world) & Africans, our main area of competitive advantage is to reduce unemployment & eradicate poverty in our land by engaging in agriculture.
l carried out my research on both crop production & animal husbandry and I discovered that major cause of problem for most livestock farmers in Africa is the cost of livestock feeds, due to the increase in demand for protein in livestock feeds production. The best source of protein for livestock feeds production is silverfish which is fairly expensive. Next to silverfish is Maggot. But unfortunately, a lot of farmers are not looking towards that direction. I have done my research & discovered that if we can have more youths venturing into maggot farming, we will reduce the cost of livestock feeds for livestock farming to be more productive in Nigeria & Africa at large, and at the same time we will get more youths gainfully employed & eradicating poverty in one of the most impoverish continent of the world. Now, haven learnt about maggot farming. I have been able to secure land in my community for the project. l am seeking for financial assistance to establish a maggot farm in my locality where I will contribute my own quota to Africa’s development by producing cheap maggots for livestock farmers & training of other youths in maggot farming.
Please, I urge you all to donate any amount you can afford to this developmental project. I promise that I will never let you down and as a show of gratitude, I will always use 10% profit after tax to set up other maggot farmers who pass through me if they can’t afford to raise start up capital.
