About the Campaign
We’re raising funds here in order to increase access to healthy menstrual health materials for women and girls in remote low communities.
Another reason is to increase the utilization of healthy menstrual materials among women and girls in remote locations.
We aim to enhance the capacity of women and girls in remote low-inome communities to practice healthy/hygienic menstrual measures.
The main goal is to improve the health of women and girls in remote low-income communities in Nigeria to have improved Reproductive Health Outcomes among women and Girls.
With this, girls wouldn’t have to miss school when they are on their periods. They’ll be able to attend school like their male counterparts.
We’ll be able to distribute free sanitary towels to 500 girls from low-income families in vulnerable communities in Nigeria – who are within puberty ages.
We’ll also be able to provide teach safe and hygienic menstrual health management measures to adolescents and women in rural communities through Menstrual Health Classes.
This will directly result in the prevention of reproductive tract infections and diseases among women and girls in Nigeria.
